Sunday is the only day the majority of my family is off (with the exception of my husband, sorry babe) and once a month we find a reason to meet for brunch.

After our first choice had a 45 minute wait, we drove to the closest restaurant- Creedmoor Cafe. It gave a feel of an old-fashioned diner. Our party of six was able to put a table at the end of a booth, being seated within 15 minutes. Most of the seating is a 4 person booth and the only large table was occupied, so call ahead for reservations if you have a larger party.

Breakfast and lunch options were available, along with gluten-free bread and dairy-free accommodations. The birthday girl chose a Belgium waffle topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. Yes, we have been celebrating my daughter's birthday all month long!

The overall recommendation is to order breakfast, the omelette choices are plentiful and every meal comes with home fries. The restaurant had a revolving door of customers, some for dine-in, others for to-go orders. The Creedmoor Cafe at 8315 Creedmoor Rd is a brunch spot to enjoy any day of the week, except Mondays when they are closed. Have a delicious day!
